it's amazing how time flies. seriously.
who would have thought? 2008, already. it's almost fall. winter is just around the corner. then 2009. TWOTHOUSANDNINE. wow.
i keep putting notes into my pitching grid and go to type in the date. third time today, i almost put a 6 (june, for those of you who are confused with life) and i have to pause, and remind myself it's august. each time so far it has been a surprise. august? already.
junior's mom often says, "if you think 20 to 25 is fast, 25 to 30 is twice as fast"

i had to come read this after hearing my mom was going to be featured in your blog. :P yup, and i can't believe that we're about to find out the truth behind what my mom always says. i always relished in not understanding quite what it felt like...but ... here we .. go (let's go, let's get it on - zohan)
a observation brought to my attention by my co-worker...when you're 10 and you turn 11, that's 1/10th of your life passing by...but each year you age, the "length" of that year relative to your life is a fraction less. so when you're 99 and you turn 100, 1/99th of your life just passed. so in retrospect it's a REALLY short time compared to say..the 1/18th year of your life. =(
